Get ready to return to the OC! The Real Housewives of Orange County are back and ready to kick off a new season of friendship, betrayal, vacations, and plenty of drama.
Returning housewives include the self proclaimed OG of the OC, appearing since season 1, Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, and champagne lover Heather Dubrow. Last season saw the exit of best frenemies Alexis Belino and Gretchen Rossi. The ladies will be joined by newcomers Shannon Beador and Lizzie Rovsek for the 9th season of the long running Bravo series.
According to E! Online, Shannon is described as having “unflinching honesty and unconventional ways” insinuating that the new housewife will definitely stir up a little drama. Lizzie owns her own swimwear company, was previously Miss Kentucky, and aspires to be an actress (let the Malibu Country debacle continue!)
Last season dealt with a few heavy issues for the returning women, with Vicki’s daughter claimed that her mothers boyfriend Brooks Ayers had a taste for violence, and insinuated women needed to be kept in line (what a keeper…) in an audio clip that was later leaked. This season will deal with some of the tension brewing after the heated reunion exchange as Brooks continues to remain in her life.
Tamra had just opened a new gym with new husband Eddie, and are said to be discussing the idea of a child this season. Heather’s acting career opens up more doors for the mother and wife, but apparently not all of the ladies are too pleased with the supposed etiquette enforcer. We can’t wait for the season to unfold!
The new season will begin airing Monday, April 14 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
