Tweens and teens rejoice! Guess who loves you guys ‘like a love song’ (see what I did there?) and is set to take the stage at the Radio Disney Music Awards? Your girl, Selena Gomez, that’s who! It is all set to go down on

April 27

, with the awards show being presented in segments featuring performances, highlights and behind-the-scenes goodies to be broadcast in various platforms, including Disney Channel, Vevo, Radio Disney, RadioDisney.com, and Disney.com websites (so you have no excuse for missing out on the fun!).

Given that its target audience is youngsters, these awards are a far cry from the Grammys with their “Record of the Year” and more like “XOXO – Best Crush Song” and “Ultimate Breakout Star – Biggest Viral Artist”(you know, the things that tweens really care about LOL).  Also set to rock out at the awards are Bridgit Mendler (her song, Ready or Not, total guilty pleasure), Cody Simpson, Austin Mahone (Taylor Swift’s opener) and Coco Jones. So far, Justin Bieber (Gomez’s sometimes boo) is not scheduled to make an appearance (No Biebs?! Poor tweens!).
