Sense8 has officially been renewed for a second season!

It was announced earlier today via a Twitter video with the cast, that the series will make a return to Netflix (though it’s too early for an official release date as of now). The sci-fi Netflix series, created by the Wachowskis, and centers on a group of 8 strangers all from different parts of the world and are mentally/emotionally linked to one another. Sense8 is completely an original series, and takes the time to incorporate a diverse ensemble and take on stories with major issues including religion, sexuality, gender and much more. What really pushes the series forward is the ability to craft a character driven series, making them each captivating enough to care for them individually without filler time. Despite being a sci-fi series, it shouldn’t simply be labeled as that because Sense8 is wildly entertaining with some differing genre moments that work perfectly. Fans of the series maintained faith that Sense8 would see the horizons of a second season, and now we can finally celebrate! Can you feel that joyous emotion i’m experiencing sensates?
