Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Seth Glier has an uncanny ability to connect with listeners around the globe with his heartfelt storytelling and “otherwordly” layered vocals, and he’s made a name for himself thanks to his diverse musical catalog full of enrapturing releases melding pop, folk, and synth sounds. He’s set to unveil his sixth studio album, ’The Coronation’,in the near future but prior to that, PopWrapped are delighted to premiere the latest single to be taken from the collection called “A Gift” and its accompanying video.

The track opens with captivating minor piano chords that sound like they’re straight from a psychological thriller and soon culminates into an anthemic chorus that details betrayal and loss. The emblematic and warm vocals only add to the mystique. In the accompanying visuals, Seth is seen deep in a New England forest, riding his bike straight into the camera view, building a subtle intensity to further highlight the song’s narrative. 

Forthcoming album ‘The Coronation’ explores the current chaos of the world, but is an invitation to listeners to help make our reality a better place as Seth explains:”For most of my adult life, I’ve held the belief that humanity is right around the corner from something transformative. If we could only see that our separateness is an illusion, then a future of global cooperation and interdependence would be undeniable.” He goes on to add that: “As the coronavirus locked down the world, I watched this long-held belief inside of me becoming a reality right before my eyes. The dolphins returned to the Venice canals, and millions of children saw the stars for the first time. I wanted this album to feel like a roadmap towards reunion in a reconnected and repairing world.”
