The trio was caught over the weekend in New Orleans taking over a high school football field to film the video for their upcoming single “Pom Poms.” The video will feature cheerleaders from the Saints and Hornets as well as the Southern University marching band, the brothers revealed on Ryan Seacrest this morning. No specific release date was given for the song besides ‘the Spring.’ (So come 12:01am on March 20th, I’ll be impatiently waiting bros!).

The boys have also revealed that their new album is complete too, after working on it for over a year. I expect their new sound would be much more mature than their previous releases, given the 3 years of personal experiences they have to go on. Kevin Jonas has gotten married and has a show on E!, Joe released a solo CD and toured the world, and Nick returned to the Broadway stage in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying after Darren Criss concluded his 3 week run back in January 2012.

Having so many individual growth opportunities will mean that each has something different to bring to the table when it came to writing this new material. Using personal experiences in songwriting is nothing new to the boys though; for example, Nick Jonas wrote the hit song “A Little Bit Longer” after he was diagnosed with diabetes.

The brothers definitely know they’ve been missed too. Last year they played a handful of shows as a group rocking old hits and previewing new material such as “Wedding Bells” (allegedly about former flame, Miley Cyrus). The boys also released the high-energy track “Dance Until Tomorrow” back in December 2011.

Are you as excited as I am for a new Jonas Brothers’ album?
