If you aren’t familiar with Sia by now, we probably can’t be friends. OK, we can still be friends because I’d love to tell you all about her amazing body of work, creating hits for stars such as David Guetta (“Titanium”), Flo Rida (“Wild Ones”), Britney Spears (“Perfume”), Rihanna (“Diamonds”), and Beyonce (“Pretty Hurts”) to name a few!
One of the few hitmaking-songwriters that can sustain a substantial singing career, Sia Furler has released the music video for the debut single off of her new album, 1000 Forms of Fear. “Chandelier” is a raucous song that listens like a getting-ready-to-go-out jam, yet Sia has chosen a different approach for the video.
Tapping Dance Moms alum, Maddie Ziegler, the singer brings us a vision of innocence, with the young dancer portraying what seems to be a young Sia. Blonde bob wig in tow, Ziegler runs around the empty apartment setting, frenetic modern dance moves abound. The performance goes from bedroom, bouncing on the bed, to kitchen, eating an imaginary bowl of cereal.
See if you can follow the bouncing baby Sia in the video below!
