Singer Estelle Leaves Record Label

There are times in every musician’s career; where they are faced with some hard choices they would rather not make.

One of those choices is whether or not to stay with your record label.

The artist Estelle has chosen to leave her current record label. This is the end to her deal with John Legend’s Homeschool Records, along with Atlanta Records.

She will be starting over on New London Records with a publishing deal with BMG.

Estelle said in a recent press release “This is new and an exciting move for me. BMG has been an awesome partner throughout my career, and with New London we plan to continue bridging the gap between soul, pop, London and New York, uniting them both through music.” Richard Blackstone, who is the executive president for BMG said ” Estelle has been a valued member of the BMG family as a writer for some time now. She is a deeply passionate artist gifted with a tremendous voice and has music running through her veins. We are thrilled that Estelle has expanded our relationship and entered into a new partnership with BMG label Services to release her upcoming album.”

Estelle is preparing for the release of her upcoming fourth album, It is set to be released in February of 2014.

This album is a follow up to her 2012 album entitled All Of Me.
