Sophia Bush, of One Tree Hill fame, is set to host this year’s VH1 Do Something awards. The ceremony, which honors people who have made a difference, celebrates celebrities and young people alike. Presenters will include Malin Akerman, Lucy Hale, and Cynthia Nixon; celebrity honorees for the evening include Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jennifer Hudson, and Kelly Osbourne, among others.

Last year’s Do Something Awards ceremony was hosted by New Girl actors Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, and Lamorne Morris. Ben Affleck presented the grand prize.
What is the grand prize? There is the opportunity for young people who have made a charitable difference to win $100,000 to gift to the charity they represent. Sasha Fisher represents Spark MicroGrants, Daniel Maree is there for the Million Hoodies Movement, Jillian Mourning wants the prize for All We Want Is Love, Ben Simon is there in support of the Food Recovery Network and Lorella Praeli is attending on behalf of United We Dream.
The VH1 Do Something Awards air on Wednesday, July 31 at 8pm EST.
