St. Blue Addresses The Fallout Of Love With “I’m Not Your Baby

Like many of her artistic LGBT+ artists St. Blue has had to overcome adversity on a pretty big scale to allow her to express herself the way she wants to. The strength she’s gained from overcoming such adversity is one of the reasons she is one of the key spokespeople in the music industry for those who struggle with the misconceptions that can come with having an LGBT identity.

St. Blue has also chanelled her thoughts and feelings regarding such adversity, the struggles she’s overcome and those she, like many others, continue to face, into her music, which is heavily influenced by the likes of Foals and Banks. Having already earned herself coverage from the likes of Wonderland Magazine, her previous singles ‘Fault Lines’ and ‘Ashes’ have earned her more than 150,000 streams across several music platforms and seen her audience grow as her career continues to go from strength to strength.

Her new single “I’m Not Your Baby”, which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere, is perhaps her strongest track to date and a highlight of her upcoming EP. Lyrically honest and thought provoking, the track explores the often messy and complicated fallout that comes when we try to re-create a past love with a new, unwilling rebound. It’s a situation no doubt many who hear the song will relate to and as a result, St Blue once again hits a home run when it comes to creating music with meaning and says of her own thoughts behind the song: “I found myself playing the part of being in love, rather than being in love, to satisfy an existing craving that was once fulfilled by my heartbreaker.”
