'Star Trek Discovery' Unveils First Trailer! | Discovery
Media Courtesy of CBS

Late last year, CBS announced the addition of a new Star Trek show coming this fall, and they have given us a poster and a trailer to get us excited! The show will be starring The Walking Dead's Soneuqa Martin-Green, The OA's Jason Issacs and Doug Jones from Hellboy. So far, the show has an all star cast and has been ordered for 15 episodes instead of the original 13, which hopefully means that this is a great show and will get a second season. Okay, we're getting ahead of ourselves a little, but we're ready for a new Star Trek.

CBS also revealed that they will be airing a second show after Star Trek called Talking Trek, which we imagine will be a lot like Talking Dead. The trailer reveals that this show takes place 10 years before Kirk, Spock and McCoy took flight on the USS Enterprise. We are really interested to see the new show and how it deals with a time before some of the great works Kirk and Picard did for the Federation. Take a look at the trailer!

Jason Issacs shared a tweet with the Captain's chair in view, and we are really excited for his role in the show because he is alsways so great in all his roles.

Watch the trailer and look at the images to see what you think of the new show. We have high hopes for this new series, and we hope it will fair better then Enterprise did a few years back. We are excited, and we think the after show will really add a lot and get fans into the story line of these new characters! Sound off with your thoughts, and stay with us for more news!
