Stephen Colbert Gets Unlucky And Then He Gets EPIC

Poor Stephen Colbert.

Last night he got utterly screwed over by Daft Punk.  Seriously he booked the band for an exclusive performance for last night (Tuesday August 6th).

And then?

They canceled last minute.

Why?

DAFT PUNK ARE GOING TO BE AT THE MTV VMAS! Shhh it’s a secret. 

So they had to cancel on Colbert for THEIR TOTALLY SUPER SECRET VMA PERFORMANCE BECAUSE THEY HAD TO REHEARSE THER SUPER SECRET PERFORMANCE OF SECRETS. 

Well this still left Colbert, who is having  StePhest Colbchella 2013, in a bit of a pickle.So what did he do? Colbert got AWESOME. After explaining to viewers (and the audience) what happened, he then lip-synched the song with special guests.

And it? It was probably even better than see Daft Punk perform. Check it out below!
