Steve Grand made headlines around the country when the 23 year old released his first song and video “All-American Boy” on YouTube last July which he produced himself at a $7,000 price tag.
The song, about two men in love, went viral making him the first male country star to enter the industry openly gay. Critics have given the young upcoming star praise, and now Steve is ready to complete an album without a label. Grand posted a video on Kickstarter to fund is upcoming album having already completed four of the 12 tracks he intends to record.
With the help of fans, he hopes to raise $81,000 which would provide packaging, production, promotion, and radio play. It’s certain that he will have no issue raising the money already having raised $63,000 with a month left to go. We can’t wait to hear his upcoming music. Watch the video below and pledge if you want to help him create his first album!
