Set your phasers for stun! A new trailer for the upcoming Star Trek Into Darkness is set to premiere tomorrow morning at 7am! The new trailer is set to give us more insight about the JJ Abrams helmed sequel to the 2009 reboot of the series that stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, John Cho and Simon Pegg with newbies to the cast Benedict Cumberbatch and Alice Eve.

The sequel will show fans a disgraced Kirk leading the Enterprise crew in an epic manhunt after Cumberbatch’s John Harrison, a “one-man weapon of mass destruction” who has come to Earth to unleash hell.

Producer Bryan Burk has stated that the film will have tons of references and nods to the long established Star Trek canon while Abrams explains that one of his goals is “to make you cry” during an emotional climax in the story (that guy…).

Star Trek Into Darkness is set for release in the UK on May 9 (lucky Brits!) and May 17 in the US.
