 It was just announced that Chris Lowell will be joining the Veronica Mars Movie cast, reprising his role as Stosh ‘Piz’ Piznarski.

With the just-recent news of Chris Lowell being signed onto the movie, the creator of the cult hit, Rob Thomas, wrote in an email to all the pledged Kickstarers, “ I think a lot of you will share my excitement when I tell you that Chris Lowell will be returning to Neptune as Stosh ‘Piz’ Piznaraski”.

Chris Lowell was introduced on Veronica Mars in season 3 as Wallace’s (Percy Daggs III) roommate who later became a love interest for Veronica (Kristen Bell). I guess this means well get more insight and depth to the love triangle between Logan, Veronica, and Piz when the movie finally comes out. The film will take place at Veronica’s 10-year high school reunion.

Lowell will be joining his original fellow cast members Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni, and Percy Daggs III for the film, which will begin shooting in about 9 days. Time to blast the Veronica Mars theme “We used to Be Friends” by the Dandy Warhols!

I’m waiting to see the names Tina Majorino (Mac) and Francis Capra (Weevil) to join the cast, because the more Veronica Mars alum the better!
