You’re killing me, Smalls! Could it really have been twenty years since The Sandlot was released? I vividly remember watching it with my cousin, and falling head-over-heels in love – in typical eight-year-old fashion – with Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez. He was the very definition of dreamy.
Patrick Renna (Ham) and Chauncey Leopardi (Squints) reunited recently at a Minnesota Twins game, where they were able to pick up where they left off twenty years ago. The original chemistry and candor was still there, and they even look the same!
They also popped into the commentary box for a brief chat about the movie’s anniversary

The duo, Renna is 34 and Leopardi 31, have been touring together this summer in honor of their famous movie’s twentieth birthday. David Mickie Evans, who directed the film (and its much less successful sequel), is traveling the country hosting viewings of the original film.
