Ed Sheeran figured he would start Taylor Swift’s RED Tour with some excitement, misjudging a jump and falling on the stage. The video above shows him make a rather painful-looking fall at 1:40, just as the crowd was getting really swept up in his song “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You.” You’ve got to give it to him though… it’s a wonderful piece of acrobatics!

But don’t worry Sheerios, he is completely fine and managed to finish the concert in a typical Ed Sheeran style: amazingly. It definitely gave the crowd a scare though!

Ed Sheeran is currently on tour with Taylor Swift, which has recently led to the first rumours that the two are dating. He explicitly denied these rumours though, jokingly adding that he “feels a bit like a stud” that people would actually believe that he could date Taylor. You’d almost think he doesn’t realise that he has millions of fangirls who would want to date him as well…

Anyway, the two seem to be developing a very good friendship, which I personally think is just wonderful! Dating rumours were bound to circulate around Taylor these days, especially if the two of them just enjoy each other’s company.

Tonight the two will put up another performance in Omaha, but the tour dates so far have been scheduled all the way until September, so let’s hope he manages to keep his neck in one piece until then!
