The crossover to end all crossovers has been confirmed by Fox!
Family Guy’s Griffin family are all set to travel to Springfield in a special episode of the show next year, and meet their rival cartoon clan the Simpsons.
The two groups of characters are promised to get along like a house on fire, with Stewie’s admiration of Bart’s pranks, Marge and Lois bonding over neglected housework, Lisa attempting to discover Meg’s hidden talent, and the heads of the households Homer and Peter engaging in a debate over which beer is the best, Pawtucket or Duff.
When discussing the upcoming episode, entitled ‘The Simpsons Guy’, Peter Griffin said, “Fox hasn’t spent this much money since they took Simon Cowell tight T-shirt shopping”, with yellow-skinned Homer saying of his new ‘albino friend, “Finally I can get my hands on this guy!”
Voices appearing in the episode will include Simpsons favourites Dan Castellaneta, Nancy Cartwright, Julie Kavner, Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria alongside Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane, Mila Kunis and Alex Borstein.
This potentially epic crossover will air in Fall 2014.
