The Tick's Dangerboat Interacts With Fans At NYCC | The Tick

Dangerboat came to life on the NYCC floor! Even though Dangerboat is in fact a water vessel, it has a life and mind of its own as a character on Amazon’s Original Series, The Tick. Dangerboat serves as a Sidekick to vigilante and trouble maker Overkill. We know what you're thinking... How can a boat be a sidekick? Well, Dangerboat is equipped with Artificial Intelligence.

The Tick activation site at NYCC lets fans aboard the boat and allows them to interact with Dangerboat himself. Upon entering Dangerboat, fans are asked to fill out some important superhero questions, like their name and what super power they would like to have. We chose to fly, because we live in New York and would love the ability to fly over all of the traffic and crowded sidewalks! Fans would then print out their own superhero ID card (it was totally legit).

But then, there was a voice!

Dangerboat started to call out names and ask questions, and you could answer and interact while you continued through the rest of the activation. Fans were also given the chance to create their own superhero profile and get a can of Fo-Ham. No worries, inside the can was just some Tick swag. We weren’t sure how Fo-Ham would taste!

At the end, you had the chance to complete your superhero profile with a 360 video. Of course we jumped at the opportunity to give it our best superhero pose.

Also at NYCC, Amazon realized The Tick Season One: Part Two teaser! Watch below to see more antics of the Tick, Overkill, and Dangerboat. Part two is being released February 23, 2018!
