Welcome to the fourth round of Blind Auditions for The Voice. Will Adam keep one upping Blake? Will Shakira keep the boys in check? Will Usher ever put his leg down?!

Will Blake show off some more dance moves? Will Shakira speak more Spanish? Will Usher put his foot down again? Will Adam give Blake another hug?

Side note: Oh no Blake didn’t just bring his AMA to the set! And he butchered Shakira’s name! Lol!

Well before we get started let’s see how the teams stand!

Team Adam: 6

Team Blake: 5

Team Shakira: 7

Team Usher: 6

Bec:

“Price Tag” sung by Audrey Karrasch: From Reno Nevada who is obsessed with music. She decided to go to New York to model. She felt unhappy as a model. She changed careers and went out to a diverse music scene. She wants to be judged on her voice not her beauty. She has a great voice for pop. It has a good rasp to it. Blake turns around immediately followed by Usher. Blake knows the words to this song. I love Blake. Usher opens his mouth and she cuts him off to pick him like that.

TEAM USHER

Erika:

Audrey Karrasch: Model turn singer. Kinda looks like Demi Lovato! Will she sing like her? She takes on Jessie J and even sounds like her! I’m liking what I’m hearing! Blake and Usher agree with Blake turning first! Adam tries to throw shade at Blake but Audrey tells him that he didn’t even turn around so why is he talking? Burn! So much sass! She barely lets Usher fight for her before picking Usher! Blake gets his ass handed to him by Usher!

Tarra:

AUDREY KARRASH (Team Usher ) - oh LOOK a modelling who wants to sing? Sounds like a cliche to me. *open mouth, insert foot* girl’s got a Jammin’ vibe despite a slightly screechy performance. And she can spare with Adam so there’s that. And she was smart with her questions and then BAM she picked Usher out of nowhere. Way to go.

Bec:

“With a Little Help From My Friends” sung by Brandon Roush: A nineteen year old who teaches autistic kids how to rock out. This guy is adorable. He has a very gospel voice but I kind of love it. I also want to run my fingers through his hair. Shakira turns around for him, which is awesome. He has some amazing glory notes in his voice. I love his awesome Megadeath hair as Adam calls it.

TEAM SHAKIRA

Erika:

Brandon Roush: Kinda looks like Shaun White. Works with kids! OMG, he’s singing the theme from Wonder Years! Having so many feels! He hits a hell of a high note and wins Shakira over! Blake wasn’t expecting a white dude with long hair! The judges love his hair! Great control with his voice!

Tarra:

BRANDON ROUCH (Team Shakira ) - just take my HEART ALREADY DUDE! And his hair is more fabulous than mine! And then he sings and just, yep, the voice don’t match the face, in the best way popular. C’mon Adam, you could of ROCKED with this guy! “OMG THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE!” Same Blake, same. But Shakira got him, so take that boys.

Bec:

“Set Fire To The Rain” sung by Betsy Barta: A street musician from Minnesota who had horrible shyness and stage fright. She and her guitar player make money playing and trying to survive on her music. She sees this as her most important performance yet. She has a nice rasp and a very pretty voice. And yet no one turns around for her. It looks her guitar player is about to start crying. However, Adele probably overwhelmed her.

Erika:

Betsy Barta: Street musician trying to succeed. Goes with Adele. Will she have enough power to succeed? Should have gone with an indie record. Not enough passion for the song nor power. So sorry! You ain’t no Adele! Next! PS stop crying, hookers! You’re stealing all of my honey’s hugs! Back off!

Tarra:

BETSY BARTA - no shame in busking, a great way to define yourself and better your craft. WHY do people who are not Adele insist on trying to sing Adele?? It hardly ever works, like now… You can tell she was really shaken not being chosen but

Then there is montage of failed singers: they were not kind to them…yikes! Burn, baby, burn! Sorry but, NOs:

Jewl
Ginette
Chris Johnson

Bec:

“Walking in Memphis” sung by Patrick Dodd: A guy from Memphis who had children at a young age with his wife. He has some good dreads. Not as epic as Samuel Larsen’s from Glee though. He’s won an award for Entertainer of the Year on Bill Street. He has an awesome raspy voice that I just love. The song? Not my favorite choice on the show. But I love his rasp. Shakira hits her button followed by Adam. Seriously Adam’s snarky responses are amazing.

 TEAM ADAM

Erika:

Patrick Dodds: Family man from Memphis! With White boy dreads…I can’t deal with that. Stahp! Of course he does Walking In Memphis! Pretty soulful! I can forgive the dreads. He is slaying this song! Adam and Shaki turn for him! Adam and Shaki trade jabs with Blake having her back! Picks Adam! Blake tries to shame Adam to stealing him lol

Tarra:

PATRICK DODD (Team Adam) - this guy is one of the oldest in the competition right? Anyway, doesn’t matter. His look is pretty awesome but WHY ARE YOU PICKING SUCH A PREDICTABLE SONG? Better do it well or you will be back Walkin In Memphis. Oh good, Adam and Shakira are throwin’ down on this one. Usher if he is so awesome, why not turn the chair?? HUH?? Oh Adam enough with that self-deprecation, you’re still uber pretty. And Adam adds another to his arsenal of BAD ASS Singers. He is kinda really stacking it.

There is a montage of Blake, Shakira, and Adam picking up artists.

Bec:

“So Sick” sung by Orlando Dixson: From Washington D.C. and graduated from Berkley School of Music, he grew up with his mom and sister but had no father figure. He has since repaired his relationship with his dad but ultimately he wants to make the ladies’ in his life proud. OHMYGOD I LOVE THIS SONG! However, I do not love his interpretation. He has a good voice but it sounds like he’s eating the microphone. Usher hears something he likes at the last minute and turns around.

TEAM USHER

Erika:

Orlando Dixon: College grad turned wedding singer; Pulls the R&B cad goes with Ne-Yo. Kinda a bit of let down at first for me! Thought he was a goner until Usher pulls a last minute buzz in. I don’t see how though. I don’t think he was strong enough. See ya come knock out rounds! Usher almost dances again but stops! Why?! We like!

Tarra:

ORLANDO DIXON (Team Usher ) - another dude ready to help his family, oh boy. I loves me some some Ne-Yo but this guy doesn’t have the IT that Ne-Yo has. Usher what are you doing?? I know part of this show is development so hopefully that is what Usher will accomplish.

Bec:

“Safe and Sound” sung by Savannah Berry: I am trying desperately not to crack a Glee joke right now with that last name. She sang a duet with Sugarland that put her on that map. This seventeen year old is seeing this as a chance to prove to herself that she is not wasting her life. She has a beautiful voice and Adam turns instantly. Shakira follows him. She hits some really amazing notes and I can’t help but like her. She is INSANELY talented. Usher, for some insane reason, does not turn around for her. Poor girl looks like she is about to cry. Adam seriously does have the best snappy comebacks ever.

TEAM BLAKE

Erika:

Savannah Berry: Sang with Sugarland! Young thing! Takes on Taylor Swift Safe and Sound! Got chills! The girl nailed it! 3 of the four turn! No usher his time! Blake, Shaki and Adam start brawling Shaki firing shots! I love her sass! Blake is trying way too hard! Wants to adopt her! Adam stops him! But Blake wins anyway! Naturally!

Tarra:

SAVANNA BERRY (Team Blake) - okay a Berry huh? *shudder* but HOT DAMN I love this girl. She could do country, pop, bluesy stuff, she has potential. A fight has arrived and her name is SHAKIRRRRRRA. Feisty little girl. Blake is not giving up on this one is he?? And that’s why she goes right to him.

Highlights:

Blake and his AMA award lol

Adam and Shaki’s fighting!

Blake defending Shaki!

No Bieber reference!

Am I the only one who thinks the judges need an awards rack on the stage? Yes please!! Until next week! The Unholy Trinity, over and out!
