The Unholy Trinity is reunited! Just in time for the final round of blind auditions on The Voice! With so few spots available it is time to see who the final contestants get as their coaches. It’s almost go time for all the contestants; we just need to get through tonight. Will Shakira finish tonight on a high? Is Usher still going to prop up his legs to get members on his team? Will Blake ever stop trying to pointing at himself? is Adam still going to keep clowning Shakira? Let’s get started!

Team Adam: 11

Team Blake: 11

Team Shakira: 11

Team Usher: 11

Bec:

With only one spot left on each team, the coaches are going to be SUPER picky. So who are the lucky final four?

Tarra:

Guys it is FINALLY HERE!!! The final blind auditions episode and also Luke Edgemon’s blind audition day!! Can you tell I’ve been super excited about this for like 2 months???

Erika:

Let’s have a moment of silence for the swivel chairs.

Bec:

“Come Together” sung by Mark Lennon: It’s time for a Kia plug! So Carson drives down to Venice Beach to meet 49-year-old band member. Carson is very excited to meet him. I…He has a good voice but I think he’s a little bit too nervous for this. Something about his performance is throwing me off. Yeah. I’m with Adam it wasn’t dirty enough.

Erika:

Mark Lennon: 49 year old from Venice (what’s with all these older talents trying out this season?). Music vet that apparently Carson knows about (I haven’t the slightest clue). Let’s see how he does. He has a decent sounding voice. Some of his high notes were all over the place. I thought Blake was going to push for him but he didn’t. No swivels for him because he wasn’t dirty enough with his vocals.

Tarra:

Mark Lennon - This dude is so Venice Beach it HURTS. If Stevie Nicks can dig it, maybe I can too. I kinda want him and Vince Neil or Bret Michaels to do a duet like yesterday, I’m kinda completely shocked that no one picked him. Like seriously are you deaf?? But it just shows that it is gonna be TOUGH to make a team tonight.

Bec:

“Dreams” sung by Jacqui Sandell: A twenty four year old singer and dancer from New Jersey. She got to perform Swan Lake for the Russian ambassador. Her bandmates are adorable. She was on Warped Tour?! Huh. Carson it’s more than punk rock and mosh pits. There is a lot of people smoking weed there too. She has the beautiful raspy voice that has Blake turning around instantly. Immediately followed by Usher. Her tattoos are adorable. She reminds me of a more refined Melanie Martinez from last season. Probably following the heels of fellow Warped Tour-er and The Voice winner Cassadee Pope she joins

TEAM BLAKE

Erika:

Jacqui Sandell: Ballerina turn singer (this storyline is getting old in my opinion). Looks like a punk girl rocker. I wonder what kind of feels she’s going to give off. Right off the bat, Blake turns for her followed by Usher. Kinda sounds like a mature Demi Lovato with her vocals. Not at all what I was expecting (thought she was going to be screaming). She was a little too restrained for my tastes. Both the guys play the tattoo card to get her to pick them but Blake wins her over and completes his team!

Tarra:

Jacqui Sandel (Team Blake) - Wow this girl is a little bit of a badass! Her voice should be quite unique. CHILLS. That is all. I think she could have pushed it a little harder on the chorus but I mean she’s making a team. So…whatever! By picking Blake, she fills his team. Now Blake just gets to relax and mess with the other coaches. “OMG I think I’m going to pee my pants”

Now we get a little retrospective on how Blake build his team of country singers! …And you know, other awesome people. Just in case you forgot who made his team.

Bec:

“Good Girl” sung by Amber Carrington: A nineteen year old who arrives with her grandparents and has been performing her whole life. Her mom died from breast cancer after she moved to Nashville. Aw I’m tearing up. It struck a chord with me. She chooses a Carrie Underwood song that is definitely difficult. However, she has a great voice and awesome stage presence. Adam definitely wants some more country and hits his button.

TEAM ADAM

Erika:

Amber Carrington: Another young country singer who lost her mom to Breast Cancer. Let’s see if she can pull that emotional loss into her vocals. Adam turns for her as she gets the crowd going with her rendition of “Good Girl”. She has a little fire in her voice! I like it. Adam scores his last member as he is the only one to turn for her. Blake is hating that he could not push for her. Blake is already plotting a steal.

Tarra:

Amber Karrington (

Team Adam

) - A 19 year old country girl who dresses and has a hairstyle like she is about 45. Oh wait a SURPRISE! A young country girl doing Carrie Underwood. So I love that Adam turned because he knows Blake CAN’T! This is proof Adam is an evil genius. I will say this girl has PIPES! Don’t forget NEVER HAD A LESSON!

And now we get the Adam retrospective! I have to agree that Adam’s team is probably the strongest overall. He has all the genres and musicality and all that jazz. People best be careful.

Bec:

“Haven’t Met You Yet” sung by Dustin Hatzenbuler: I am so sorry if I spelled that long. He had a high school band. When they all went to college he worked on his music career. He lives at home right now and has AMAZINGLY supportive parents. I like his voice but he is clearly nervous. He should have auditioned earlier when the coaches are more forgiving. No one turns around for him and I’m bummed. I hope he comes back next season. They wanted a little more swag and Sinatra.

Erika:

Dustin Hatzenbuhler: Former high school rock band leader who wants to strike out on his own. He did release his own album but wants to be successful. Goes with Michael Buble’s “I Just Haven’t Met You Yet”. Ummm very, very, very weak voice. He sounds so nervous! He hits an awkward high note at the end and seals his fate of not getting a turn. Sorry, guy. Maybe next time!

Tarra:

Dustin Hastenbuler - Boy with a dream who lives at home with his parents (for free) and his parents are super supportive, how lovely. His voice is just so silky. I feel, based on his look, if John Green was a singer, he would be this guy. Too bad “the swag wasn’t right.”

Bec:

“I Can’t Make You Love Me” sung by Luke Edgemon: YAY! It’s Luke! Hi Luke! He got brought up singing in the Church. He’s worked with a ton of super soulful singers. (Notice that they didn’t mention him being a Warbler on Glee.) He has this amazing raspy voice. Adam is looking like he wishes he could push his button. He puts a lot of soul into this song. Luke just sounds awesome. Shakira turns around for him! Followed by Usher! At this point that is like the equivalent of a four chair turn. Shakira adorably tries to copy Usher’s signature pose.

TEAM SHAKIRA

Erika:

Luke Edgemon: AKA THE ONE I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR! Random fact that I did not know until I started watching: HE’S FROM MY HOMETOWN, FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA! 910 REPRESENT! Ok, I’m good now. Luke was a Warbler on Glee among other things so he’s already won all kinds of cool points with this recapper. I could literally gush for hours about him but for the sake of this recap, I won’t keep you long. He’s got such a soulful voice. Just frakking beautiful. I hope he gets on Team Shakira! Shaki turns for him first and then Usher! He’s the total package, and they see it too!  Shakira lifts her leg like Usher to see if that helps in the tonight’s LOL moment. He chooses wisely and goes with Team Shakira!!!

Tarra:

Luke Edgemon (

Team Shakira

) - IT IS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST SCREAMED LIKE A CRAZY PERSON. Interesting they didn’t let him mention American Idol or Glee but that’s got to be about network conflicts. I’m literally crying right now with pride for him. Adam is so spot on with his assessment of Luke, he is like a sneak attack cobra with the voice of a Black Woman trapped inside him. WAY TO GO!!!

Shakira has the most diverse group I think. The Cee Lo of this season. Now for picky Usher to finish his team…

Bec:

“Marry You” sung by Jessica Childeress: She’s not a pro musician. She worked in PR but was unhappy doing music. Her husband seems like a very supportive guy. Oh I really like her voice. It’s smooth and sweet. All of coaches are like PUSH THE DAMN BUTTON USHER!  Usher tries to get the crowd amped up for it. He stands and turns and claims her. Usher adorably runs up to hug her. Blake’s hips do lie after all.  She is adorable. Nothing beats Cody Belew’s reaction though from last season. But I love her and her good vibes.

TEAM USHER

Erika:

Jessica Childress: Quit her job in PR to become a singer. She wants this badly! Let’s see if she snags the last spot on Team Usher! She takes on “Marry You” by Bruno Mars (one of my faves). Girlfriend is nailing this song and totally giving me the life! YEEESSSS! Usher stands up and pushes his button for her! Adam wants to marry her because of her voice! She shows Shakira some her best moves as an extra, which I love!

Tarra:

Jessica Childress (

Team Usher

) - Girl leaves stable job with uber supportive husband lets see how this works out. Usher sure is dragging this out if he plans to pick her. I just the deaf level wasn’t Beiber enough. Oh wait, there he goes. THE TEAMS ARE DONNNNNNNNE!
