The official trailer for Warner Bros. remake of the legendary tale of Godzilla has been released online in all its beautiful HD glory.

It’s been one and a half years since the first sneak peek was shown at the 2012 Comic-Con and fans have been counting the days until the theatrical trailer would be released. Ladies, Gentlemen and Godzilla fans one-and-all, the wait is over.

Starring Bryan Cranston, Aaron Tyler-Johnson, Elizabeth Olson, Juliette Binoche and Victor Rasuk. Godzilla was adapted for the screen by Max Borenstein from a story by Dave Callaham and is directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters).

Godzilla opens in theatres on May 16, 2014.
