Tia Nomore Presents New Single “Skirmish”

Tia Nomore is well on the way to cementing her place in the commonly men-heavy hip-hop world.

The music world is fickle and competitive at the best of times, and some might argue, often one that works to and for the benefit of men. Now this might not entirely true, but certainly for many upcoming artists, finding their way in the cut-throat music industry is a challenge at the best of times, especially with the adversities women in particular often find themselves facing. Despite these adversities and challenges, 22-year-old Tia Nomore is well on the way to cementing her place in the commonly men-heavy hip-hop world, and PopWrapped are delighted to premiere her new single “Skirmish” featuring Stoni, and its video.

As a warm and friendly individual whose reputation for being at times brutally honest is reflected in many of her lyrics, Tia started out performing in her brother’s rap circles and would ditch classes to record music. Her command for respect among her peers soon saw her in the studio with HBK Gang’s Show Banga, Iamsu! and Too $hort producer Exclusive. Now a fully-fledged artist with support and features from Vice, Nylon and Earmilk among others to her name, she’s showcasing the talents that caught the attention of those she grew up with and around to the world.

Tia’s new release is also 1 of 5 singles from a new Text Me Records mixtape, which promotes a phone number – 415-548-4648 – that gives fans early access to songs, behind the scenes content, discount codes and more. Check out “Skirmish” below and for more information on Tia Nomore, visit her website, give her page a like on Facebook or follow her on Twitter. Header photo credit: WABLES.
