Listen up, all you Draco Malfoy fans! If all goes well, you will soon be able to get your weekly fix of the Harry Potter star, as he has signed on to a new TNT pilot, Murder in the First.
Deadline is reporting that the British actor has signed on as a series regular to the new murder mystery drama. He will be joining Taye Diggs (Private Practice, RENT) and Kathleen Robertson (Boss) on the San Francisco based show.
The series follows two homicide detectives, Terry Seagrave (Diggs) and Hildy Mulligan (Robertson), as they investigate a case that “seems more like a maze.” Felton has been cast as Erich Blunt who is described as being the “cocky, spectacularly wealthy CEA of Applicon” and “a tech genius.” There is no word on whether he will be retaining his sexy British accent for the role or adopting an American one. One thing is for sure, you can never get enough of the Brit.
The series is co-created by Eric Lodal and Steven Bochco (of NYPD Blue fame), and with those credentials it will be surprising if TNT doesn’t pick it up.
