Who would have thought that Lady Gaga would pair up with the legend Tony Bennett to do a jazz album. The album is expected to be released next year in January 2014. The two started working on the album back in June, and according to Bennett it’s a “sensational jazz album”. Bennett recently told Propaganda “In January of next year we will release the album. It’s a very sensational jazz album, with great jazz artists on it, it came out wonderful.”
Tony Bennett, who is now 87 years old, said that his relationship with Lady Gaga is more of a brother and sister type of relationship. He added that “She is the Picasso of the entertainment world. She’s a very talented person, we’re just like brother and sister together.” Currently, Lady Gaga’s new album ARTPOP is set to be released on November 11th. Her lead single “Applause” hit that charts at number four, and number five in the United Kingdom as of last month.
