Influenced by the likes of Alicia Keys, Jimi Hendrix, Pink, Billy Talent and Michael Jackson, among many others, Toronto-based artist Vaness has grown up around music, finding both comfort and strength in it.

Fueled by her passion for the arts and as a gifted singer-songwriter, she’s now making her own mark on the music scene thanks to debut single “Change Of Heart.”

Asked about the story behind the track, she says:

“We all know how it goes; you fall in love, you get hurt, you get your heart broken, and sometimes you feel like you’ll never love again. But, then, one day, you wake the fuck up and realize it’s only as bad as you let it be. That’s what this song represents. It’s the second chance you give yourself to love and to feel love.”
