New K-Pop Talent TRI.BE Drops Debut Single Album, TRI.BE Da Loca

One of the first major K-Pop debuts of 2021 is finally here, with the seven-member girl group TRI.BE revealing their first addictive single “Loca” and introducing the rookie group as energetic musicians coming into the industry with the experience and precision from freshmen artists evidently in it for the long haul.

Being a quadrilingual group, members SONGSUN, JINHA, HYUNBIN,and SOEUN originate from South Korea, KELLY and JIA are from Taipei, and MIRE is from Tokyo — so the group has achieved bragging rights for their ability to speak and sings in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

With their debut music, we learn the song “Loca” kicks off their impressive first high-energy song with a youthful vibe that feels reminiscent of professional K-Pop powerhouses — even normalizing their signature “TRI.B da Loca” a collective chant throughout the chorus that makes it even more impossible to forget.

The group also hits their debut track incorporating an unrelenting beat that showcases that aforementioned energetic direction — and their vocals are a perfect delivery of just enough standout moments for each member to remind listeners that they are strong as a unit, and individually.

TRI.BE’s lead song and music video “DOOM DOOM TA” maintains that pop-track appreciation, but slows things down enough to find a groove that deviates from the pulsating beat of “Loca.” The chorus of “DOOM DOOM TA” leads into a perfect almost-transitional dance break, followed by their now-iconic catchphrase artist intro, making TRI.BE feel like a group that has secured their spot in the industry despite the fact that they haven’t even had music out for a week.

Noting their music and concept as “Girl Swag” TRI.BE’s first tracks come from esteemed producer S.Tiger (known for collaborating with K-Pop royalty IU, 4Minute, MOMOLAND, EXID, T-ARA, Apink, HyunA) and the group follows many reputable acts that will help them earn that connection with audiences around the world. After listening to the two tracks on repeat — I can confidently say I’m looking forward to hearing “TRI.BE Be Da LOCA” on more songs in the future.
