After his wife, Anna Paquin, was seen filming steamy scenes for the latest series of True Blood, Stephen Moyer was having some fun of his own. The True Blood star found himself surrounded by plunging necklines while he played Billy Flynn in the musical Chicago on Friday night, alongside Ashlee Simpson, at the Hollywood Bowl.

Ashlee Simpson, who has a four-year-old son with ex-husband Pete Wentz, is no stranger to playing Roxie Hart, as she has already played her in other productions in London’s West End and on Broadway.

Although Stephen started out in theatre, he told the Los Angeles Times, “I needed a bit of a break (from the stage). But I never intended it to be 18 years. It’s been awhile since I’ve had to retain so much dialogue, (I was) pleased at how quickly it’s all come back to me.”

The pair, who are only performing three dates, gave it everything in front of the almost 18,000 people at the venue. Chicago also stars Drew Carey as Amos Hart, Lucy Lawless as Mama Morton and Samantha Barks as Velma. The musical is directed by former Chicago actress, Brooke Shields.
