Already proving herself to be one of the newest and freshest talents on the music scene right now, electro-pop artist VANDA – real name Michelle Vanda – who is originally from Chicago but now calls LA home, has her sights set on world domination.
Described by some as being able to blend the soul of Sam Smith with the passion and vocal talents of Adele and Katy Perry, since bursting on to the scene with her EP Moving On in 2015, VANDA has spent the last year building both her contacts and her fan-base through an array of spellbinding performances and songs that focus heavily on her dreams and ambitions. At times, they’re raw and brutally honest, but being so dedicated to her craft, and her audience, is what’s helping set her apart from her fellow artists.
Having earned support from the likes of The 405 and Pop Dust among others and following the success of her single “Young For Life”, VANDA has teamed up with her EP producer Adam Bruns to create a new EDM edit of the track which PopWrapped is delighted to premiere.
Asked about how the new edit of the song came about, VANDA says:
I worked with Adam on my first EP, Moving On. He produced three songs off the album and after finishing Young For Life, I knew right away I wanted to reach out to Adam to see if he was interested in doing an EDM edit of the track. Our time working together, I heard some amazing EDM tracks of his, so I was excited to hear his take on the song. He’s such a sweetheart and the remix came out great!
