Hello marshmallows, here are the latest tidbits from the Veronica Mars movie camp. Today, casting news and a script excerpt!!
So far, it seems like the Veronica Mars movie has 3 cast members, the lovely Kristen Bell, the waiter (Kickstarter backer) and just announced, Jason Dohring aka Logan Echolls! Not that anyone should be surprised, according to Rob Thomas, the series’ creator & movie writer, Logan is a key part of the plot line of the movie. Jason, along with Ryan Hansen (Dick Casabalcas) and Enrico Colantoni (Keith Mars) appear in the video for the movie’s Kickstarter so it is only a matter of time before we see the pair sign on for the movie.
Also released this week, a page from the script for the movie! In the excerpt, Veronica Mars is checking into the high school reunion where she meets up with the ever so endearing Madison Sinclair, who used to be Queen Bee of Neptune High. The exchange just goes to show that Veronica hasn’t lost her snarky edge!
