Victoria Beckham has denied that she will design costumes for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.
The former Spice Girl had been rumoured to be lending her designing skill to director Sam Taylor-Wood’s movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, but she has now set the record straight.
“I heard that rumour too, but I haven’t been asked,” Beckham told Grazia Daily, adding: “Don’t believe rumours!”
E. L James’s erotic trilogy Fifty Shades of Grey became a world wide phenomenon after its release in 2011.
The story revolves around Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. When Anastasia goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

Fifty Shades of Grey will star Charlie Hunnam as playboy Christian Grey, while Dakota Johnson will play innocent college student Anastasia Steele.
The movie – which will be released next year – tells the story of Christian and Anastasia’s romance descending into bondage and masochism.
Beckham also discussed her 2-year-old daughter Harper’s fashion sense, saying: “She definitely has a point of view. If I’m going out for the night and I’m coming down the stairs, she’ll say, ‘Nice dress mummy’, or, ‘Nice handbag mummy.’”
