According to reports, the Spice Girls’ musical ‘Viva Forever!’ is to be reworked before it opens on Broadway, after critics described it as a “disappointment” back in December when it opened on London’s West End.
A source told British newspaper The Mirror “Judy [Craymer] is doing all she can to make it sharper and funnier,” and then continued to say, “There will also be a few major set reworkings, giving ‘Viva Forever!’ a fresher feel”.
Despite struggling with slow ticket sales since receiving a number of scathing reviews, the musical has extended its run at the Piccadilly Theatre until February 2014.
