Deleted scenes are definitely the best things about special features on anything! The Walking Dead continues with this tradition.
We all know that Rick went more than a little crazy after his wife Lori died. He started seeing and hearing her when she wasn’t there.
In the new Walking Dead DVD/ Blu Ray combo set, you can see a deleted scene that will show you just how much worse things could have gone.
If you look back in episode ten, “Home,” Rick shared a tender moment when he had a vision of Lori in a white dress out on the bridge that is past the prison yard.
Now, there is a deleted scene that shows us fans how this scene was originally shot.
Believe me when I say it’s quite scary! After the couple is shown kissing for awhile, things turn ugly very quickly. Rick goes to pull away from his beautiful and beloved wife, it shows her as a zombie.

The complete third season of The Walking Dead will be out on DVD (and limited edition Blu Ray set complete with a zombie aquarium tank that can be filled with water and floating heads) on August 27th!
