Brace yourself Walking Dead fans, there is sad news coming.  An exclusive image from Season 5 shows that there may be a dark future for one of the character. Put down the riot gear; it’s not Daryl, but instead it’s our very own Glenn!

Now the fans of The Walking Dead know that in the comics, Glenn’s story line takes a rather shocking turn. Although the show tends to warp the comics universe as to keep the fans on their seat, this is still a shock to see.

The image depicts Glenn surrounded by a group of walkers with an expression of acceptance smacked all over his face. The trailer released earlier this year showed a figure swinging a baseball bat right at Glenn’s head. Is this the moment before that possibly deadly swing happens?! No matter how much the show or comic may prepare audience it is still a shock.

Will this lead fans to grab their riot gear and rebel against The Walking Dead? Only the new season will tell.
