Her noticeable two-year absence from the music scene has not gone unmissed. The charts have reflected this as more artists took the top spot in 2012 than in 2011 when Gaga was still present in the charts. I imagine this won’t last much longer because guess what? The woman, the phenomenon, the legend…GAGA is BACK!
ARTPOP is the title of her much anticipated third album, due for release on November 11th of this year. In Gaga’s latest promo for her yet unnamed comeback single, she’s…NAKED. Clever woman! She sure knows how to work the business; this will be talked about

women will be taking second glances at this photo.
What I admire is the fact the shoot isn’t provocative; she’s not bearing all in a way that isn’t graceful. She’s not selling her body to sell her album; it’s done in a way that will get her talked about in a positive way – by most people anyway.
Gaga tweeted the promotional picture along with the caption: “1ST SINGLE FROM ARTPOP COMES AUG.19 #24DAYS”. It’s been rumoured the song will be called ‘Applause’ after Gaga teased fans on her social-networking site with a photo of her makeup artist with what appeared to be the artwork for the single.
It’s thought the first time we’ll see the new song performed live, will be at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 25th, but there have been no confirmations.
So it looks like all we have to do is wait a little longer before Gaga’s back on top and all faith in the world is restored.
