Keanu is that you? It took a few minutes to realize that is in fact Keanu Reeves. The years have not been kind to him, I guess. It’s hard to believe The Matrix star is fast approaching 50, and in his later years he has started spending more time behind the camera rather than in front of it.
Reeves was in Cannes to support and promote his directorial debut The Man of Tai Chi. The film centers on a young man who is recruited to participate in an underground fight club in Beijing. This is a story that Reeves felt so compelled to tell and stars friend and former stuntman Tiger Chen.
When it came for the film’s photocall Reeves had cleaned up his act and looked a little more like the actor we know and love. Maybe it’s not age, maybe Keanu just doesn’t travel well. Bad photos happen to everyone once in a blue moon. We still love ya Keanu!
