I never thought that I would see the day where Meryl Streep would actually have to beg for a role. Why would such perfection actually have to ask for a role?! And more importantly what film has her so eager to participate in? The answer may surprise you, Ms. Streep is trying her damndest to land a role in Anchorman 2!
Recently Steve Carell spilled that Meryl was a huge fan saying “Meryl Streep told me she was a huge Anchorman fan and she’d love to have a cameo in the sequel. That could be really funny. There are going to be plenty of great cameos in this movie.”
Meryl would join the ranks with the news team as well as newcomers Kristen Wiig and Harrison Ford. I’m a huge fan of Anchorman and the sequel is shaping up to be a huge hit. Do you think Meryl would be a news worthy addition? Let us know what you think!
