With production on the next Star Wars film set to begin next year, casting will be well underway. While a number of names have been working through the rumour circuit (Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron for example), others are putting their hands up in the hope of landing any kind of role in Star Wars Episode VII.
One of these is Kick-Ass actress Chloe Grace Moretz who has admitted that she would “kill to be a part of that franchise”.
Moretz recently spoke to MTV and when asked if she’d be interested in a role in the new trilogy she replied, “obviously there’s interest. It’s Star Wars… but I don’t know. JJ, I’ll give you my phone number. You can text me.”
While no casting announcements have been made, it is widely expected that the original trilogy stars, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, will appear in some capacity though the trilogy itself will focus on their characters’ children.
Star Wars Episode VII will start shooting in the UK in 2014 with a release date set for 2015.
