Ever since actor Lee Pace was cast as an unspecified villain in the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy film, rumours been surfacing and resurfacing about the identity of his role.
Although some speculations have suggested he may play Thanos (who we briefly saw at the end of last summer’s Marvel blockbuster The Avengers), Phalanx, The Controllor or the The Collector, the favour seems to currently be with Ronan the Accuser, thanks to a report from JoBlo. The alien warrior of the Kree Empire is a well-known member of the world of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and the Guardians of the Galaxy, whether it be as antagonist or ally.
James Gunn’s Marvel Studios feature is due out August 1, 2014, and will star Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, and others alongside Lee Pace.
