The surfboards have been handed out at this years Teen Choice Awards, hosted by Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale and Glee fan-favourite Darren Criss! The show, which took place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, honours the front-runners in music, sport, movies and television, as voted for by the fans.
The 2013 ceremony featured performances from Georgia Florida Line, alongside award-recipients Paramore, Demi Lovato and One Direction – who took home four out of four honours! Other big winners included the casts of Pretty Little Liars and Pitch Perfect, and Ashton Kutcher, who, having been presented with the Ultimate Choice Award, offered the teenagers of today some very valuable and influential advice about opportunities, hard work, and being sexy.
Having also won their awards, Lea Michele and the cast of Glee tearfully and respectfully paid tribute to their late co-star and ‘brother’ Cory Monteith in their first public appearances since the world was rocked by his untimely death earlier this summer.
And, of course, what celebration of everything teen would be complete without twerking! Specifically, Harry Styles twerking!
