While speculation has been rampant that NBC ordered new episodes of the hit show Will & Grace, the main actors involved cast doubt upon it. Debra Messing made sure to let all the fans know, when the spark was initially lit, that a revival was only in the talking phase at that point. Now, however, it has been officially confirmed that NBC has ordered 10 new episodes!

NBC chair Robert Greenblatt confirmed the revival, saying, "We're thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back. This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary -- all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture -- is coming back where it belongs."

The four stars of the series are expected to return as their famous characters: Eric McCormack as Will, Debra Messing as Grace, Sean Hayes as Jack and Megan Mullally as Karen. Series creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan will be back as well. All of these exciting developments point to a great return for this show. Since all the original people will return, then the show should pick up exactly where it left off, as a smart and witty comedy for all.

The surprise Will & Grace mini-reunion online video that was released during the election was both brilliant and hilarious, and it proved quickly to NBC and the fans that this show is timeless and could return very easily. Everyone at NBC is excited, including Jennifer Salke, President of NBC Entertainment, who said, "The fact that all four of the original stars were excited about getting back into production is a testament to the joyful experience they had doing nearly 200 episodes for eight seasons." She is exactly right!

So, fans, are you excited for the return? Comment below with your thoughts on what you'd like to see and maybe not like to see. Also, we really think Netflix should grab the original seasons before the revival premieres so that current fans can relive it and new fans can discover it.
