Hollywood’s acclaimed jack-of-all-trades, J.J. Abrams has found great success as a producer, director, screenwriter, actor and composer.
With a myriad of hit TV shows and films that include LOST, Alias, Super 8 and the most recent installment of the Star Trek films, Abrams is staying busy. His life doesn’t appear to be slowing down either with the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VI, a Cloverfield sequel and another installment of the Mission Impossible franchise. All set to release in the next couple of years!
With all of this action and science fiction work, it might come as a surprise that Abrams is a big fan of a hit series across the pond, Downton Abbey.
Series creator Gareth Neame would love to have Abram’s direct an episode which is awesome yet confusing.
“I have this idea that a spaceship lands outside Downton and some alien aristocrats, some alien servants come out, something like that,” Neame said.
I’m sure J.J. can work with that.
