Woman Adopts Dying Dog And Creates Bucket List For Him

A Georgia woman recently took in a dying dog named Chester and, determined to make his last days special, designed a bucket list for him.

We all love our pets and want the best for them, but 24-year-old Nicole Elliot recently took things one step further and opted to make the life of a cancer-stricken pooch at a rescue centre a little more fun by adopting him and creating a doggy-bucket-list for them to complete together.

Elliot, of Columbus, Georgia responded to a notice from Animal Ark Rescue, who were looking for individuals to take care of a sick dog named Chester. She took him home, determined to give him some love, care, and plenty of fun times.

As to why she did it, Elliot said:

“I decided it would be an amazing experience to take on… I knew that it would be my responsibility to make his final days the best I could, to mine and his ability.”

So far, Chester has been treated to a spa day and eaten hot dogs, as well as having enjoyed a number of other experiences. There is even a Facebook page, where supporters of Elliot and Chester can follow along with their adventures.

Elliot isn’t sure how much time she has with her furry friend, but says:

“…he still has very perky moments and he loves to terrorize my kitties.”

We at PopWrapped think Elliot is awesome for being so kindhearted and wish her and Chester all the best.
