There is a possibility that Wonder Woman could be written as bisexual on screen, provided that a fan petition to Warner Brothers is successful.
In a 2016 edition of the superhero’s comic book, it was revealed that Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman is actually attracted to more than one gender. Which makes her canonically bisexual, and fans have been hoping that this would translate to her film version. Wonder Woman though did not address Diana’s sexuality, except for the part where she falls in love with Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor.
Gal Gadot who plays Wonder Woman is all for it though, as in an interview with Variety last year she said, “In this movie, she does not experience any bisexual relationships. But it’s not about that. She’s a woman who loves people for who they are. She can be bisexual. She loves people for their hearts.”
What a bi Wonder Woman would mean
Currently there are no openly bisexual or even an LGBTQ superhero in all of the major film franchises.
The Change.org petition was started by GLAAD Representative Gianna Collier-Pitts who wrote how important it is to have a bisexual or even a major LGBTQ representation among the superheroes on film.

“Making Wonder Woman canonically bisexual on the big screen would make her the first openly LGBTQ superhero of any gender from either DC or Marvel’s cinematic universes, and would solidify her place as a true role model for women of all ages and identities,” she wrote. “All I ask is that Warner Bros. directly acknowledge Diana Prince for who she is, who she has always been (regardless of her current love interest), and what her character could potentially represent for millions of people.”
