Last night the world was shaken by a massive attack on the city of Paris.  The tragedy took over 100 lives.  The city of Paris closed their borders after calling it a state of emergency.  The Internet went crazy with support for Paris using the tag #PrayForParis or simply #Paris and it shows how much it takes for our world to unite.  World leaders reacted on Twitter and many images were shared to support the city of Paris.  Take a look:

The French Prime Minister's Tweet translates to say, “No barbaric act will never extinguish the freedom of the press. We are a united country.”

Pope Francis said, "I am close to the people of France, to the families of the victims, and I am praying for all of them."

President Obama stated, "This is an attack not just on Paris and not just on people of France, but this is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share."

Russian President Vladimir Putin added that these terror attacks are, "proof of the barbarian nature of terrorism, which challenges the human civilization."

Images have been pouring in from all over the world that show a unity for Paris and for France:

This is a time to remember the phrase 'united we stand'... we are a world united against attacks like these.
