WWE Legend ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin has come out in defense of gay marriage. He spoke out in his podcast, which he has been airing for the past year.
Austin shared his thoughts on same-sex marriage, holding nothing back: “Everybody’s going crazy about this, and some of the churches say, ‘Oh, no can do, you can’t do that.’ I’m for same-sex marriage. I don’t give a sh** if two guys, two gals, guy-gal, whatever it is, I believe that any human being in America, or any human being in the god**** world that wants to be married, and if it’s the same-sex, more power to ’em.”
Austin added, “What also chaps my ****, some of these churches, have the high horse that they get on and say ‘we as a church do not believe in that.’ Which one of these [people] talked to God, and God said that same-sex marriage was a no-can-do?”
Austin then pointed out the irony of how the concept of forgiveness is taught by some churches
“OK, so two cats can’t get married if they want to get married, but then a guy can go murder 14 people, molest five kids, then go to f****** prison, and accept God and He’s going to let him into heaven? After the fact that he did all that sh**? See, that’s all horse**** to me, that don’t jive with me.”
