Carrie Fisher Appears In Two New Family Guy Episodes

Fans will not have to wait until Star Wars: Episode VIII or the upcoming 2017 fantasy film Wonderwell to see Carrie Fisher back in her acting element.

If the sudden loss of Carrie Fisher has got you feeling down this week, worry not. Fans of the recently deceased performer will not have to wait until 2017’s Star Wars: Episode VIII or the upcoming 2017 fantasy film Wonderwell to see Fisher back in her acting element.

According to an original report by Variety that was later confirmed by Entertainment Weekly, Fisher was able to record two episodes of voice work for FOX’s immensely popular animated comedy series Family Guy before her untimely death from cardiac arrest on December 27, 2016.

Fisher has voiced the character of Angela, Peter Griffin’s irritable and demanding boss, over 23 episodes of the hit series.

Fisher has been the only voice of Angela since the character’s debut in 2005 in the Season 4 episode “Jungle Love”. Fisher’s most recent performance of Angela aired on December 4 of this year, in the Season 15 episode, “Carter and Tricia”.

As an avid fan of Carrie Fisher and the Star Wars series, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane recently took to Twitter to pay tribute to the actor.

Fisher will posthumously lend her voice to the character of Angela in two future Family Guy episodes which are set to air in 2017. As of now, the exact titles or air dates of the episodes have not been revealed.
