Demi Lovato just gave us a serious case of the feels and some chills with her new music video… 

We want to start by saying that “Stone Cold” is by and far one of Demi Lovato’s best songs ever.  We’ve been addicted to it since it was an early release from her album Confident.  This song is so heartbreakingly sad and raw with emotion that it’s hard not to love.  Demi Lovato, herself, has said that this song is one of her all time favorites, and the video does it justice.

Lovato starts the video walking through the snow before soaking in a tub with all her clothes on.  She said she didn’t want a ‘sexy’ vibe for this video but an emotional feeling.  Here’s what she shared on Instagram:

“This song hurts. So unbelievably bad. And when I perform it on a tv show, in rehearsals or even in a bathtub, it completely takes me to a different place. This song was so therapeutic to write and record, and because of that I wanted to translate that same emotion onto the screen.”

She even admits to crying while shooting the video and being unable to stop when the cameras were done rolling.  If you listen to the song, it’s easy to understand what she’s saying.  This song is essentially about how it feels when your ex moves on.  You want to be happy for them but sometimes you can only fake it.  They think you are ok but inside you’re dying.  

She hits you in the feels with this one, and you are sure to cry while listening.  Watch the video below and be prepared to feel sad because that’s what she wants and she will get it.  It’s hard not to tear up just listening to the song.  Sound off in the comments with your thoughts after you watch and go ahead and grab some tissues first.
