While most family holidays involve casually dressed days on the beach, snacking on foreign food, and generally things you don’t do in everyday life, for the this family it is a very different, rather royal affair.
Yes, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with baby Prince George, have all arrived back home after a whirlwind royal tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The family of three had a very busy ten days experiencing everything there is to experience in the two countries! Their days were spent learning how to DJ, playing cricket, exploring the Outback, enjoying museums and even receiving gifts from Aboriginals! Definitely a holiday to remember!
With the royal family back home, the royal spokesperson has given a statement on behalf of the family:
“The tour of New Zealand and Australia has been an incredible experience for both the Duke and Duchess, and the couple really have enjoyed it immensely. We always said this would be an opportunity for the Duke to introduce both countries to the Duchess and Prince George, and the couple have been bowled over by the extraordinarily warm welcome shown to them as a family by people everywhere they went.”
Even Prince George seemed a tad bit sad saying goodbye to Australia as he waved goodbye with Mom and Dad by his side–he let out a little cry!
