The 100 is returning to The CW with a second season in a week. With no promotional campaign around the show and only a short clip revealed so far, the network has yet to deliver more info regarding the show’s return. The latest promo for the premiering episode of the second season has just been released online–and its a doozy!
The first episode in the second season of The 100 is entitled “The 48”. The episode is scheduled to pick up where we left off in season 1: Clarke and others being captured by Mountain Men. The first sneak peek revealed Clarke’s escape, but there’s still a lot to find out. The new trailer sees her speaking with Mountain Men’s leader, Dante Wallace, played by Raymond J. Barry. The newly-introduced character lets her know she’s not in a state of imprisonment, but in one of salvation. In the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it clip we get a look at Octavia’s adventures as well, as she’s being a badass bitch.
The promo is quite short, but it teases the continuation of every story we’ve left on hold in an exciting way. As stated by Clarke during a look at life in the mountain, it all seems too good to be true. With some captured saved, others running free, a few just arriving on Earth, and a couple of them missing, it will sure be an interesting season to watch.
