CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls will be welcoming Switched at Birth star Gilles Marini as a sexy, French “master baker”.
The comedy series, which stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs , will show Max attempting to improve her baking skills by joining the Manhattan School of Pastry, where the Marini’s character Nicholas teaches.
The story rekindles previous speculation as to whether Max will meet someone new this series after executive producer Michael Patrick King revealed that she will meet “a hard-ass pastry chef”. Could this lead to a romantic storyline between the two?
It has also been confirmed that 24: Live Another Day co-star Mary Lynn Rajskub will similarly be taking on a recurring role in the season. She is going to be guest-starring as Bebe, an impressive but fractured pastry chef who Max will eventually meet as she enrolls in the pastry school.
The first of Marini’s episodes will air November 18th on CBS.
